Thousand Islands Lake Loop
A crossing that Bill and David had missed in 2011. They had planned to cross the San Joaquin here as a shortcut to Garnet Lake. Since they didn't find it then, they hiked the whole loop like today. Today, we are just looking and don't get our feet wet. The water is swift and cold, and I'm happy not to be wading through it. -F.
