Bill struggles back up to where I am waiting. The descent route proved to be too loose, steep and treacherous. Particularly, we didn't know how it continued. Perhaps one day we'll explore it from below. -F.
It was loose, steep, and sloppy--objectively more risky than the slabs. I resigned myself. -S.
