Half Moon Pass



Bill descends and suggests we follow, but we decline. The climb up here had already been tiring for a first day "easy" climb; we had already taken a look at the seemingly impenetrable proposed route along the ridge to Pointless Peak, which seemed pointless, and now we turned down the opportunity to climb down the other side and scramble back up. We'd rather save our energy for something bigger tomorrow, Stella and Frank agree. -F.
