Meanwhile Bill goes around the other side and encounters a similar situation, with a vertical drop-off besides, and also breaks off the attempt. Stella was off on a route nearby, but also turns back. -F.


Climbing here was fun! But I could see that downclimbing would be harder than climbing up, and we weren't prepared. -S.
