Tenaya Canyon
What I didn't know is that during the snow melt in the spring, torrents of water rush down this slope, and it is this water that has polished the granite. The degree of polish varies. Along the outer parts, the rock is very grippy, but it gets smoother and smoother as you approach the center of the flow. -F.
