Tenaya Canyon



Bill warns us about watching our step. The border between sufficient friction and imsufficient friction is thin, and when the foot slips, everything slips. I'm happy I have the new boots. In the old boots in the spring I got zero traction on grippier, much more gently sloped rock. Here, I would have slid to the bottom from near the top. But today the grip felt solid all of the time. -F.


I was nervous at first but the dry rock offered a good grip, even where it was steep. -S.
