Bill and I share a pool of photographs. We each made our selection from the pool. There is some overlap, but we do not collaborate in determining who uses which captures. The pool consisted of raw image files, and we each developed the photographs independently.

Summary

We climb and hike, but Frank especially has trouble acclimatizing and can't sleep. This may have been our final Mammoth trip.


  • On Day One: We return to Gaylor Peak after many years.
  • On Day Two: We climb with Jo, including a lengthy crack route.
  • On Day Three: We need a rest already, but Bill coaxes us into a stroll late in the day.
  • On Day Four: Stella and I try to get to Mildred Lake while Bill rides his bike.
  • On Day Five: Frank abandons a lead climb, and then we hike up the Pine Creek Trail.
  • On Day Six: We return to Mammoth Crest.
