| But the views of the Canyon were spectacular. So spectacular, in fact, that they were overwhelming. They overwhelmed the senses, the sense of distance and depth, and the inability to focus long on any particular thing. Down There would be a floor, and this floor would also have an edge, and there would be another canyon beyond it. |
