| According to schedule, we were to head Northward, via Las Vegas through Death Valley to Bakersfield, Ca. and then home. But we were tired, and looking forward to getting home. Stella suggested to forgo the long scenic route and go through the desert instead. Neither of us had the slightest interest in seeing Las Vegas. |
