"Earthquake Fault"
But it isn't really, at least probably not.
The origin and nature of the fissure appears rather
controversial. There seems to be much reason to doubt that
the hypothesis that this is an earthquake fault from a single quake.
Rather there are hypotheses that it was formed centuries ago by
a series of quakes; or that the fissure is the result of
cracking during lava cooling.
