Crystal Crag Exploration
Bill prompts me to follow the Eastern face as far as it goes. But it dead-ends soon. There is a steep drop-off to the right, and the ledge that leads to a climb up the ridge on the left is covered in loose scree, nothing I'd want to plant foot on. If we did make it part way up there, and had to retreat, I wouldn't want to have to come down this way. -F.
