Bill leads us to this talus field, hoping that it allows us to avoid "going under the nose", as he and David had done.
Stella and I came to a stop. We weren't feeling up to a big slog today, and dug in our heels like stubborn mules. Looking at Relive, though, the route would probably not have been successful anyway, because it just leads to the chute that slides away from under the nose. -F.
