Bristlecone Forest

Stella and I knew little about what to expect. Bill had told us very little, except that it would be beautiful, and very different. He picked up a brochure at the park headquarters; there was a course with numbered sites; we decided to do the loop backwards to leave open as long as possible our choices for variations. -F
