The first challenge of the day is the klinkers along the banks of Saddlebag. This year at least I wasn't recovering from a sprained ankle to start with; but there was still a certain anxiety about spraining one now. I was slow along here, but faster than last year, and Stella and I stayed together while Bill sprinted on up the trail. -F
