PCT from Sonora Pass



A bunch of skate-boarders milled around near the car as we left. I descended quickly to the next little climb because I didn't want them suddenly passing me on the narrow twisty road. The rest of the drive was uneventful and easy, mostly cruise control. We've never had so little traffic on our way to Mammoth! Bill was at Vons when we arrived at the condo, so we had a head start dragging bags and boxes up flights of stairs. -F.
