Reversed Peak

Some of us were tired after yesterday's exploits.

Carson Peak was now out of the question. Even if we'd turned back early the day before, Carson demands respect and likely we would not have succeeded. There shouldn't be any technical difficulties, though there are some optional class 3 routes. Mostly it is a steep slog with over 1000 m elevation gain in a short distance. We'll have to come back to it prepared.

Instead, we decided on Reversed Peak, which isn't a deep sinkhole, but an actual peak near Reversed Creek. The story goes that Reversed Creek used to flow one way, but then got silted up and reversed direction. Reversed Peak is a prominent little hill between Grant Lake and June Lake off the June Lakes Loop.
