Clark Canyon Rock Climb
Jo, our guide, is wonderful. She is a skilled climber and educator, knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and generally just fun to be around. She's a people person, which we are not, and I admire that. She's professional about what she does, but unlike many professionals who just have a friendly public face, she is warm and open, and genuine. From what I've seen that may just be the culture of the climbing community, but in any case I feel like I've gained a new friend. And for me, introverted and somewhat brusque towards the outside world, that doesn't happen often. -F.
