Meanwhile I feel totally comfortable on the wall, and I'm really enjoying myself. It's only a 5.7, and now it feels like it.
I initially clip the first draw the wrong way around, but Jo patiently explains which is the front and which is the back of the quickdraw, and which way the rope needs to go through it. I make the same mistake a second and almost a third time, but then I learn my lesson. -F.
