Chocolate Peak
I remembered Chocolate Peak as an easy first day hike from an early year in Mammoth (2010), and thought it would be a nicer opener. It had another aspect to it as well. It was right next door to Cloudripper, on which Bill had set his sights. I thought we might be able to examine the West Chute Class 3 route from more or less up close.
My memory was faulty. Chocolate is not as easy as I remembered, and had I read my notes from back then, I would have known. -F.
