Echo Ridge



Bill is agreeable to my argument that we might have better luck on Cloudripper next Spring when the days are longer, provided we get in a good hard training series. Besides, since we have reservations for entry into Yosemite and having just turned 62, I was eager to get my lifetime National Parks pass.


We agreed to give Echo Ridge and Cathedral Peak another whirl. Bill and had last done this hike in 2013 when Stella was absent due to a new job, and I was looking forward to showing her Cathedral. Besides that, she had only been to Echo Ridge once, when both of us shied away from attempting to climb the narrow edge.


I was dubious about completing the entire circuit, but at least one or the other should be in the cards for us. -F.
