We take turns demonstrating what we had practiced, Stella first, then Bill, then I.


On our rest day we had gone over the knots and anchors again. Although I could tie them all blindfolded at home, at the condo we were all fumbling everything! We tried to tie cordelettes with double-fishermans' and wound up with messes and not-a-knots. Well, we did manage in the end, but it was not confidence inspiring.
