Cathedral Peak



We return to the warmer side and eat lunch on a ledge, after looking at a different notch, which is also blocked by a tree. We had been slow, and would have to turn back soon anyway. As we were finishing lunch, a small group of people came up, and climbed through this second notch. We were privy to the English part of their conversation as they discussed their discovery. After fighting your way through the tree, you traverse on the edge of a narrow in-sloping ledge, but with very good hands on the long slab above that serves as a railing. We waited a longish time, and they didn't come back. That must be the way! -F.
