Crossing Rock Creek. Most uncomfortable part of the day for me! Loaded down with gear and not really seeing my feet below the rope bag, and especially with my visual lack of depth perception above flowing water, I get really disoriented! Shortly after this photo, my Elvis legs got the better of me and I crawled most of the rest of the way.

The rest of the approach steep and tedious, but without real problem. Just stop and rest every now and then. We just followed Jo up the trail. -F.



After crossing Rock Creek near Iris Slab two days ago, I felt fairly comfortable on this crossing. -S.
