| After having our fill of scenery, we got back on the highway and played tag with trucks. We decided to spend the rest of the day driving
and see how far we could get. After all, the point of this trip was to drive--to drive and talk,
and enjoy some time together, as we often used to when we went skiing together. Ohio, West Virginia, and Indianapolis flew under our wheels. We fetched up after 484 miles in a city neither of us had ever expected to visit, but which provided a pleasant hotel and the best dinner of our trip--Terre Haute. |
