And finally the long days of driving are over! Stella has been sitting in the car most of a week longer than Frank has, and his legs are aching for exercise. After locating the hotel in Cortéz, they drive up Mesa Verde and head for a suitable spot for a quick picnic lunch before heading out on a hike. Park Point Overlook, at 8573', or 2613m. |
