Tsé Bii' Ndzisgaii - Valley of the Rocks. Once upon a time, this was all filled in. The tops of the buttes and mesas there, that was ground level, where you could have walked, had you been around. Even before that, this had been a basin containing a sea whose floor were the sediments of sandstone and limestone washed from the Rocky Mountains to the East. |
