I found these Glimmersteinküchendeckenventilatorlampenschirme - "mica kitchen ceiling fan lamp shades" - in a catalog, corresponding fittings after a long online search; and I'd seen the style among Arts-and-Crafts things before. Certain technical constraints helped dictate the proportions, but for the most part, the sconces are what I intended them to be.
