Clark Canyon Rock Climb
Stable position.
Jo has me on a tight rope. On slab in particular I'm comforted by that, because if you do fall you can easily get really scraped up. But in general I prefer a little slack. Further up, one foot slips and I'm caught by the rope, but I like to know with certainty whether I recovered from the slip myself, or whether I fell off. In this case, I'm pretty certain I would have stayed on on my own. -F.
