Bill and I share a pool of photographs. We each made our selection from the pool. There is some overlap, but we do not collaborate in determining who uses which captures. The pool consisted of raw image files, and we each developed the photographs independently.

Summary

A strange Mammoth trip indeed! We came in June this time to avoid the fire and smoke season, but we were plagued by injury and lack of training. So all of the hikes were short. The highlight was our first outdoor rock climbing session wih our wonderful guide Jo, which alone made it all worth it. We had intended to follow that up with kayaking the next day, but Bill's van refused to start, and we spent the day watching Bill try to organize a tow home via AAA.

  • On Day One, We revisit Reversed Peak, which we'd agreed last year would be a great first day hike.
  • On Day Two, We do our first exploration for the Carson Project, a hike to Agnew Lake.
  • On Day Three, We continue on the Carson Project, but by way of Fern Lake.
  • On Day Four, Stella and Frank take a walk at Lake Mary while Bill rides his bike.
  • On Day Five, We do our first ever outdoor rock climb in Clark Canyon.
  • On Day Six, We hang around the condo while Bill organizes a tow home for his van.
