Hāna Highway
Without bikes or snorkels, we spend our final day driving the notorious but often highly recommended Hāna Highway; which we discover is neither much fun in the driver's seat, nor the passenger's. At a waterfall about 3/5th of the way to Hāna, we turned to make our tedious trip back.
But there were interesting spots along the way. First, we and a dozen tourists fought our way through a slippery bamboo forest to some waterfalls. -F.
