With all our training, this should not have felt so difficult. But it was a first day at altitude, and Stella and Frank never enjoy slogging up steep sand. But even Bill, who does like that stuff, was complaining today of just feeling tired and unenergetic.
In light (or darkness) of the gathering clouds, Bill suggests we turn back, but Frank feels he'd be too disappointed to quit now. Stella is more lively, and also wants to keep going, but doesn't feel committed to reaching the Two Teats.
