Mono Basin: Mono Craters
We arrive in a high desert moonscape. Before us looms the sandy hill Bill wanted to climb. Appearences out here can be deceptive, and the idea of slogging up through the sand was not at all appealing. As Bill pointed out, on the map it isn't that far to the top, but he was content not to nudge the rest of us into climbing it today.
