Illness Strikes

Next morning, it was clear Stella was going nowhere. Frank began to prepare for the day's hike, but there was a growing soreness in the throat and congestion in the sinuses. Lightheadedness, fatigue. Perhaps we shouldn't hike today.

He spent some time on the couch, eyes closed. Take it easy today, drive home tomorrow.
