Attempt on Shepherd Crest

Another peak attempt. This one did not succeed, but we weren't particularly disappointed. We look at it as a scouting expedition, and maybe next time we'll be successful.


Though we didn't achieve our primary objective, the day was not a loss at all. This part of the Sierra is enchantingly beautiful, especially in the later light of day, and while everything may be tired and hurts, one is still awe-struck every time. -F.
