Here's the belay. I'm clove hitched to the carabiner through the master point of the anchor, and my PAS is clipped to the shelf. Also on the shelf, (the top of the knot), is the carabiner for the guide-ATC belay device. The gold carabiner in this configuration actually turns the ATC into a self-blocking belay device so it will jam if the climber falls. The brake side is to the left, climber's side to the right. -F.
