This is already the crux of the whole climb. Stella makes the mistake of not exiting the chimney here, on the left side, and continues straight up, a mistake that I will repeat when it is my turn. I see none of this. But Gerry coaches her from below, and eventually climbs up to assist. With her stature, Stella has some difficulty exiting the chimney now that she's climbed too far. -F.

I've gone too high in the chimney. My hands are numb with cold, and I'm starting to regret my life choices. -S.
