Haleakalā Crater in the Cloud
We'd actually planned to go zip-lining this morning, and do a much shorter hike after. But my back started giving me problems on the day of our first snorkel expedition, which threw even the bike ascent into question. Two days earlier, I called the zip-line company and canceled because I was not convinced my back would be sufficiently recovered. In retrospect, I would not like to have missed any of this hike. -F.
