Frank's Haleakalā Climb
A Chukar partridge in the lower Visitor Center parking lot.
The weather had cooperated nicely. It began moderately warm and ended soothingly cool; it was dry and only lightly windy, and I didn't have to ride through any clouds.
Until the last kilometer or two of the descent where the dark clouds drew together and gave me a good soaking before I climbed into the Expedition at the bottom of Crater Rd. -F.
