Red bananas! John said, they're the best. A couple days later, I grabbed one and cut it open with a knife - it was not yet ripe, tasteless and hard. I disposed of it on the compost pile, and then spent 15 minutes cleaning the sap off of the knife! -F.
A week later, I grabbed another, and it was soft but firm, creamy, and good! -S.
