A Bizarre Endeavor or Reversing the French Revolution

So the Palace of the Republic, seat of Parliament, the Chamber of the People, of the GDR has been gleefully eradicated, erased from memory. In its place, perhaps some symbol of enlightened civilisation? No! We celebrate the Monarchy! The Bundestag finds it appropriate to rebuild the Berlin City Palace, winter residence of the Hohenzollern kings, and of the Prussian emperors. Though at first reluctant due to the enormous costs, the Parliament allowed itself to be persuaded by the lobbying campaign of an aristocrat.
