We aim for the North Summit. Each of us seeks his own route, but Stella follows close to Frank ascending the talus of the South Summit while Bill follows sandy cuts to the north. As the air grows thinner and the scrambling trickier, Stella perks up and comments, "This is intense!" Frank knows the feeling.
